I am a dedicated and compassionate Black woman therapist with a strong commitment to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and self-discovery. Being from the African Diaspora, I understand firsthand the feeling of not completely belonging as well as the freedom that comes from starting a lifelong journey of healing.

In my own journey to live authentically and embrace liberation in a world shaped by systems of oppression, I’ve found immense purpose in guiding clients through their paths of discovery. With expertise in trauma recovery, racial trauma, emotional regulation, and life transitions, I strive to create a safe, affirming space where you can navigate challenges, heal, and grow. Together, we’ll explore the impacts of your experiences, develop strategies to manage emotions, and empower you to approach transitions with resilience and clarity.

My therapeutic approach is tailored to your unique needs, blending empathy and challenge to foster growth. I may reframe narratives or invite you to engage in exercises designed to shift perspectives and uncover deeper insights. At the core of our work is collaboration and mutual respect—your goals and experiences will guide our sessions, creating a partnership rooted in trust and shared purpose.

Drawing on a range of effective, trauma-informed modalities, I aim to honor your individuality and cultural background while empowering your strengths and resilience. Culturally affirmative and strength-based care is central to my practice, ensuring that your experiences are validated and celebrated. Recognizing the mind-body connection, I integrate somatic approaches to release tension and promote holistic healing. As an EMDR-trained therapist, I also offer EMDR as a powerful tool for processing trauma and fostering recovery.

Your well-being and growth are at the heart of everything I do. Together, we’ll co-create a personalized path toward healing, resilience, and realizing your fullest potential. Seeking support is an act of courage and self-care, and I am honored to walk alongside you on this transformative journey.
